Good chemical resistance, oil resistance, air tightness and fragrance retention, it is one of the commonly used base materials for permeability-blocking composite stretch films. However, polyester stretch film is more expensive, generally 12μm thick, and is commonly used as the outer layer material for steaming packaging with good printability.
