The density is between 0.94-0.965g/cm3. The heat resistance and mechanical strength of high-density polyethylene film is better than that of low-density polyethylene film. The stretch rate is relatively small. XLPE:
Compared with other polyethylene films, this pe film has higher heat resistance, tensile strength, heat shrinkage and barrier properties, and its use is further expanding.
Generally speaking, as the density increases, the mechanical properties and barrier properties will increase accordingly, and heat resistance is good. Polyethylene of the same density has different properties due to different film forming processes, and crystallinity Low, high transparency, low turbidity, but the molecular arrangement tends to be more irregular, so the barrier is small, the transmittance is large, the elongation is low, and the tear resistance is poor.
