Since the plasticizers used in PVC cling films are carcinogenic, and the production cost of PVDC is too high, most domestic cling films tend to use PE as raw materials.

 

Stretch film, also known as stretch film, heat shrinkable film, is the first in China to produce PVC stretch film based on PVC, and DOA as plasticizer and self-adhesive effect. Due to environmental protection issues, high cost, high relative to PE, small unit packaging area, poor stretchability and other reasons, when the produced PE stretch film is phased out, the PE stretch film is first made of EVA as a self-adhesive material. However, its cost is high and it has a taste. Then, PIB and VLDPE are used as self-adhesive materials. The base material is now mainly LLDPE, including C4, C6, C8 and MPE.

 

Since pe stretch film is an industrial grade film, and cling film is a food grade film, it is absolutely unscientific to use pe stretch film as a cling film. And from the price point of view, the price of stretch film is much more expensive than that of cling film. It is very unwise to use stretch film instead of cling film.

 

PE stretch film is suitable for logistics packaging, transportation packaging, industrial packaging and other industries, but it cannot be used to package our food, so if you directly use PE stretch film to contact food, taking it for a long time will cause food poisoning, so pe stretch film and The plastic wrap we usually use to package food is different, so the plastic wrap is made of green, environmentally friendly materials.

It is normal to directly package food, but due to the different materials, the material used in the polyethylene stretch film cannot directly contact the food, so the function is different.
